Sunday 24 June
Arrive into Cannes this morning & enjoy a full day at this equally stunning at famous location. Keep an eye out for the rich & famous that live in this part of the world & sample some of the luxurious champagnes on offer.
The golfing aspect of the cruise begins today at the 5* Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort. Just 20 minutes from Cannes, you will play the more challenging Le Chateau course. German billionaire, Dietmar Hopp, gave former golfer turned architect, Dave Thomas, a very healthy budget to deliver a course worthy of St Tropez, & that he has! Winding through pine & oak clad hills, with panoramic scenery of the Southern Alps, this course is immaculately maintained & is the perfect round to kick off your golfing adventure.
Monday 25 June
The luxury destinations do not stop as you arrive into St Tropez. Champagne & yachts will be aplenty, but you can still enjoy the more rustic aspects, particularly the local cake: La Tarte Tropezienne.
Tuesday 26 June
This morning, you will arrive into Palamos, in the heart of the Costa Brava. Best known for its rugged terrain & excellent beaches, Palamos also boasts some of the world’s most delicious prawns & houses museum of surrealist Salvador Dali’s work.
The golfing continues at the PGA Catalunya Stadium Course today. Rated as Europe’s #3 (& Spain’s #1) course, it was designed for professional events, hence the “Stadium” features. It has been the location of the Spanish Open on three occasions: 2000, 2009 & 2014.
Wednesday 27 June
Located at the northern end of Mallorca lies your next destination: Alcudia. First settled by the Phoenicians & Greeks, the Romans made their way here in the 2nd Century BC. Plenty of history will be in store, so too the largest wetland area of the Balaeric Islands which is home to over 250 bird species.
The next course you will play is the Alcanada. Designed by the renowned Robert Trent Jones Jr & opened in 2003, the course boasts unrivaled sea views & its own lighthouse. Although not the most well-known, this course is highly regarded by players & magazines alike.
Thursday 28 June
Arrive into the famous port of Valencia. A beautiful mix of ancient architecture & space-age buildings, Valencia is quickly becoming the destination of choice for tourists. You will have a full day to explore this beautiful city, so be sure not to miss the Jardines du Turia, a former river that flowed through the heart of the city (since re-routed) has become home to beautiful botanical gardens & cafes.
Friday 29 June
Arrive into Barcelona this morning. Famous for its Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s modernist interpretation of of the Gothic style. His architecture dominates Barcelona, so there will be plenty of photo opportunities. Docking in the heart of the city, at the foot of Las Ramblas, your time will be maximized with exploration.
Your final round of golf on your trip will be at Real Club de Golf El Prat. Located to the north of Barcelona & designed by golfing great, Greg Norman, this course has an emphasis on aesthetic appeal & playability. A stunning course & a great way to end a great trip!
