Join Des Coppins and Lisa Allpress, fresh from hosting their first Melbourne Cup tour together, invite you to be part of a great Wellington Cup Day on the champagne turf on Saturday January 31.
Lisa enjoyed her time so much in Melbourne with 65 of us that she had no hesitation in saying ‘yes’ again for this shorter get together.
Lisa’s had some magical moments at Trentham in three decades as a jockey including winning her first group one on We Can Say It Now in the TAB Classic ( ex Captain Cook) as well as the Wellington Cup on Blood Brotha amongst many other wonderful moments.
‘It’s always nice to catch up with racing people whether they be owners or punters and it’d be great to be socialising with you all on and off the track over the three days’, she said. ‘Mixing and mingling with good people eases my injury frustrations. If it’s a horse I rode for you as owner or a punter lets chat about it!’
